Michael DiBerardinis was appointed Recreation Commissioner by Governor Ed Rendell (1991-1999), appointed Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (2003-2009), appointed Philadelphia's Commissioner of the Department of Parks and Recreation (2009-2015), appointed Managing Director for City of Philadelphia (2016-2018), and serves as Professor of Practice, Fels Institute of Government (2018-present).
