The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Archives Digital Collections is home to historical records created by its Members, Committees, Offices, and staff. This site is dedicated to sharing with the public our resources that tell the story of the House of Representatives.
Records you see are entire collections that have been digitized and arranged by folder. To view full descriptions of objects and more please visit the PA House Archives Finding Aids. Collections will continue to be scanned and added to our site on a regular basis.
While some content may not be available to the public, we welcome you to visit the House Archives for viewing. Other arrangements, like file sharing, may be made on request.
We request that reuse of any item carry a credit line stating "Courtesy of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Archive."
Copyright and Use Restrictions
The materials included in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Archives Digital Collections are made available for use in research, teaching, and private study, pursuant to U.S. Copyright law. To the best of our ability, each item in the collections has a rights statement, which identifies any restrictions on use.
All responsibility for, but not limited to, possible copyright infringement arising from the use of the materials is assumed by the user. It is the responsibility of the user to determine copyright status. User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, its employees, and agents from and against all claims made by any person asserting that he or she is an owner of a copyright.
For materials in which the House Archives is identified as the owner of copyright, permission to use those materials for purposes other than research, teaching, and private study must be granted by the Director of Archives. Please view the Use of Reproduction Policy and request form.
