Miller, Karen A., 1942-

Karen A. Miller was elected as Reading's first woman mayor (1980-1987). She was appointed Pennsylvania State Secretary of Community Affairs (1987-1994). Later she was appointed the Secretary's Representative for the Mid-Atlantic Region, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
