A notice that Thornburgh has been reappointed as a member of the Allegheny County Regional Planning Council. Letter, December 19, 1972, from Catherine Boyd Branch, Secretary to Governor Shapp, to Richard Thornburgh. Thornburgh had requested a meeting with Shapp and Shapp was out of office. Memo, January 28, 1974, from James R. Malley. During hearing on January 25, 1974 Richard L. Thornburgh provided a chart to explain the allotment of funds. Chart not digitized. Memo, January 28, 1874, from James. R. Malley. Discusses the attached letter from Israel Packel, Attorney General, to H. Joseph Hepford, written January 25, 1974. It was handed over during the public hearing on January 25, 1974. Letter, January 29, 1974, from Downey Rice, to Richard L. Thornburgh, U.S. Attorney. Thanks Thornburgh for testifying. Rice references a letter he's sending along, a copy of the letter is found in Box 6, Folder 262. A series of letters and papers forwarded from Richard L. Thornburgh, U.S. Attorney, to Downey Rice. A letter dated November 17, 1972 from Thornburgh to J. Shane Creamer. A paper entitled "Public Exposure of Illegitimate Business" April 1973. File memorandum from Thornburgh dated November 30, 1972.
